We are exclusively dedicated to the cannabis industry, and have substantial experience on leading projects ranging from Cultivation, Extraction, Manufacturing, and R&D Labs to Testing & Processing Labs and Dispensaries.
What types of architectural support services does MerJ provide?
We support clients with Programming and Throughput Analysis, Space Planning, Staff and Process Workflow Planning. We support with cGMP Zoning, Project Phasing Strategy, and Security Plan for Site & Building, and with Interior Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document Services. In what states are you licensed?
MerJ works on projects across the United States and overseas. We are licensed in many states and have NCARB Certification, which means we can quickly and easily get licensed in most states as project needs demand. We currently hold active licenses in Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Oregon, with licenses pending in California and New Mexico.
What are the biggest challenges facing the cannabis industry?
In our experience, incomplete teams, inefficient facilities, and short-sighted planning wind up leading to big wastes of time and money. Our team approach to facilities design brings the knowledge, consultation, and guidance you need to get built and licensed quickly and avoid the traditional industry pitfalls.
